If your child is active and would like to meet new friends then contact our leaders and see if they can join one of the best organisations around. Boys or Girls aged between 6 and 14 can join our groups. The groups meet on a Monday for Beavers, Tuesday for Cubs and Wednesday for Scouts. Please follow the links for more information on how and where to join.
This year is the centenary of both scouting and of Oakdale village, so it's very important that as a group we continue to play a part in the community of Oakdale and the surrounding area.
This year we have to concentrate on fundraising, as this will provide the financial security that the group needs for its survival. In addition, the Scout Hut is in need of some major repair work to the roof and flooring.
Any donations, whether materials, labour or cash donations towards the work would be very much appreciated by the Group.
If you can offer assistance of any kind please contact any of the Committee Members.
A new committee has been formed and we are racing ahead with a number of projects, one of which you are currently looking at!
